Learn more about the components of a wedding invitation suite
Invitations are printed on your choice of one of our expertly-selected, high-quality papers, A7 size, and include a coordinating patterned backer. They typically include the most pertinent information, including names, dates, and location (but not addresses, see below). Invitation wording can be as casual or traditional as you'd like and should reflect the style of your big day. Common casual wording starts with "Together with their families" and a more traditional approach lists the parents' or hosts' names at the top of the invitation. We recommend keeping the invitation simple and concise - save the addresses and reception information for the details card.
REPLY + ENVELOPE
Reply cards are printed on your choice of one of our expertly-selected, high-quality papers, 4 bar size, and include a coordinating patterned backer. Wording can be as casual or traditional as you'd like, but should reflect the wording of your invitation and style of your big day. More traditional guest responses read "accepts with pleasure/declines with regret" while a more casual approach is "can't wait/sorry to miss it." Reply cards also give you the chance to collect information from your guests that may be important for your reception planning, such as the number of guests attending, or meal selections. Address printing can be added to your coordinating reply envelope.
Outer envelopes contain your entire invitation suite in A7 size. We have dozens of color options in both matte and metallic. Your choice of a coordinating in-stock envelope liner is included to complete your wedding stationery look. Popular envelope upgrades include guest address printing and return address printing on the back flap. Coordinating postage stamps or vintage postage can be added to your envelope order for a completely cohesive invitation suite.
Details cards are printed on your choice of one of our expertly-selected, high-quality papers, A2 size. Wording is dependent on the details you need to share with your guests. Common information included is reception information, such as times and addresses. Accommodation recommendations, transportation information (such as shuttles or busses), wedding website, or directions are also applicable for the details card. Another popular option is a custom map of the area and points of interest for your big day.
All of our wedding stationery is produced with the highest quality printing options, from flat printing to foil stamping to letterpress, and expertly-selected paper. Flat printing is the most affordable method, and gives you the most color and graphic options. Foil stamping involves a specially-made design die and foil sheets (gold, silver, or rose gold) that are heated and applied to the paper using the die. Letterpress involves pressing a specially-made design die and ink (one or two colors) into the paper, leaving a luxurious indentation of the design.
